I just did a "clean install" from Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit) to Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) and a lot of the stuff isnt how its supposed to be (I know windows 7 because I have Win7 on my other laptop). I am so confused and the computer is running way slower than before I even upgraded (custom install). There's also a ton of processes running, even upon start up, using almost 100% of my computers CPU and memory. I dont even know what any of them are or whats needed for wht, so I'm scared to mess with it. I even have the computer set to use both of it's cores but it's still unusually slow. Something that would usually take a few minutes or less to download, is taking an hour. I haven't even installed ANYTHING but the OS and essential drivers. Every troubleshooter I've used, hasn't found anything wrong. My computer is: Toshiba Satellite. Model # PSAG8U-02E018 . Any suggestions? |
