The second one could also be a Nehemia (see
http://www.ukcpu.net/Collection/Processors/VIA/C3/C3_Images/C3_133_866A_1.4V.jpg
for an 866MHz example that is otherwise the same).
That is why knowing the voltage (and in some cases other markings) will always tell you more than just knowing the part number, especially for the C3 chips (note that if anyone wants to check the info on my site, I currently have the wrong thumbnail for the Nehemiah 866AMHz, and will be changing that on my next update...).

I use this resource for identify the VIA CPU's
http://www.bytes-and-more.de/tech/via_c3_tech.htm
May be the first is a Samuel 2 or an Ezra core (vary the voltage) and the second an Ezra-T.

Have they both got the same voltage rating? That's the biggest clue to what core is in each of them...

what's the difference of the 2 same VIA c3-800?
