How to decipher intel IXXXXXX numbers on Processors?

Hi there,

i cant seem to find any documentation for the earlier cjips from intel, could someone please tell me or point me in the right direction of how to decode the I**** numbers on early processors? for example i have a 8086 with number I5480005 on it.. how do i tell week and year produced?

I = plant (Malaysia)
5 = year (will be 1985 not 1995 in this case)
48 = week (week 48 )

Thankyou for that!

so for example, another cpu i have: 80486: L2484544

would yeild: 1992 (im guessing) and week 48?

also anoyone know of a Willem programmer to suit intel EEPROM D2816A ?
