Intel confidential at e-bay .....how legal??

hello ...
i have an 1155 socket ES cpu .....
the cpu is not Populated model yet by intel
...and i like to sell it on e-bay....

will i have some problems with intel...?

I wouldn't think you'd have a problem. People sell ES chips all the time.

Afaik it's ok if this cpu is not under DOA,
and if it is, in theory Intel can force ebay to close this auction.
But in practice i don't think it will ever happen.

There was a court case about this some time ago. Intel cannot take legal action over sample processors. Once they give them away, they lose control over what the owner does with them.

Before that case, Intel closed auctions right and left, now they rarely do.
