There are some AMD some Intel, ST, Mitsibushi, NEC and Mostek, grey black purple and ceramic.

Intel D8741A x 2 ceramic
Intel D878H ceramic
AMD AM2732BDC ceramic
AMD AM7960DC x 2 ceramic
AMD AM2732DC ceramic
NEC D8748HD x 2 ceramic
ST Z84C20AB6 Black PDIP
MOSTEK MK2716T PURPLE ceramic
MISTUBISHI M5L2732K x 2 ceramic
FUJITSU MBM2732-45 ceramic
FUJITSU MBM2732-35 ceramic
Hope that helps _________________ 4000+ chips.

I could end up with all sorts, as I am not focussing on any one type of eprom. I started collecting them recently when I stripped down a MAC II and a Commodore A500, both with dead screens. I decided that they would fit nicely in my collection and hey presto...
I haven't sorted through what eproms I have properly (got more than just what came from those two systems), I'll do so soon. I'm still cataloguing my CPUs... _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Well, since I came here, I guess I pretty much boosted the whole Eprom fame .
Always bugging everyone to Start selling them here hehe !
But anyways, I suppose you could say I absolutely love em' !!!
Their different colors, and designs make them vary special to me, plus, this "craz" is realy starting to hit people more and more!
I do know the value of many makes and brands ,and let me tell you, some are'nt cheap <---
I love pretty well all Eproms, but I rave for the color ones, gold ones ,and rare(limited).
My Eprom collection is now sorring at 1123 + more not counted

WOW! You best start on www.eprom-world.com then. Can you post some of your rarer chips? _________________ 4000+ chips.

Here is my eprom collection. Not many compared to Cpushack and Glin Glin. I like the white ceramic/ gold types best.
My question for CPUshack and Glin Glin is: what would you consider to be the "grand daddy" of eprom collecting? Are there any chips you think are the most rare, most historical, most desirable? _________________ It could be the only purpose of your life is to serve as a warning to others. |

hehe I want your AMD 1702 white.
grand-daddy of EPROMs? Hands down the Intel 1701. Next up would be a 1702 (grey trace no prefix, no suffix) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
