Well I decided to create a website for my CPU collection. I have got the basic design done with a couple of test pages.
Before I decide to do the hard part and fill it with content I thought I would get your views here.
Heres the link http://aphdesigns.co.uk/cpu/

It's a good basic design. Will your pics be like the two already there, or are they just an example of the lalout? Naturally a higher resolution, and pics from above/below will be best for getting detail off each processor.
I'll be interested to see how it turns out when you have more content. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Thanks for the kind comments. The pictures there are for a layout example only. I shall probably link the small image to a larger res one which will open into a new window.
I have to find a bit of time now to catalogue my CPU's. Which is best for taking pictures of the CPU's for this type of image, digital camera or scanner? |

The design is cool, but how are you going to handle menus?
Anyways, in Firefox it looks great! _________________ Collecting soviet and western CPUs once again -- highfive to old-timers o/ |

I thought it would be easier to drag up an old thread rather than start a new one.
Anyway, I decide to scrap the old design of the website and move onto a PHP gallery based system. That way I dont have to create thumbnails, it will do it all for me.
Have a look, I have borrowed a couple of images from this very site to test it out, let me know what you think of the new design.

| Looks ok in IE now. I like the frontpage. It insn't as buisy as most chip pages. This gives it a nice artistic look. |
