I expected it will run very high but this price shows clearly
here we have one of the rarest (popular) Pentium`s Intel ever made
I think. If somebody has one of this for sale I`d pay $50 for it at once Very Happy
But I think isa-d is Mirco and not FDIV.... Razz

Ah yes, I made a mistake, FDIV was 2nd on this Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Has it sthg special ?

Another interesting thing, the 2 highest bids have been made by Italian guys. Worldcup euphory effect ?

You`re right Mixeur, the price for the DX2ODPR50 was
probably too high. But I was searching very long for this
one and now got the chance and.... damn! Wink
But nevertheless I think it`s a little bit rare.

Worldcup euphory effect ? Hmmm, could be.... Smile

Another thing, are the 300MHz-WinChips really fakes?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250005582134
I think it`s possible if they`re remarked 240MHz-Chips and
tested on 300MHz. You know you can sometimes savely overclock
20-30% most CPUs. Has anybody experiences on overclocking WinChips,
are 25% overclocking on that CPUs possible?
Thanks,
Doccy

P.S. I already have a C6-PSME300-GA, if it was remarked it was
done very professionally or even by IDT.

You`re very probably right because there`s missing a
C6 with 266MHz.... and then a big jump to 300MHz. Confused
But what if IDT processed also some C6 in 0.25micron
like WinChip2? And if there was a request on marked
for C6 on that time? Shocked

EDIT: Date-code on my WinChip C6-300: W9923 (FV25658 on the back)
On Gennadiy`s W2A`s with 266MHz: V9905C
and 300MHz: V9905C
Maybe not the big evidence but at any cases I`d take off
my hat for the 'relabellers'... Wink
My opinion: NO fake!

I was indeed second on the sx754 Crying or Very sad Truth be told I had no idea what it would go for. I thought my bid would be nowhere near the top. It isn't that I think the sx754 is amazingly rare, quite a few collectors have one, but it is quite sought after by myself as well as at least half the active members of this forum. Even the sx753's go for rediculous prices occasionally simply because they are sought after even though many examples exist.

I am seriously bummed though, and not just about the sx754. I got outbid on all but one of the chips I bid on. The last thing I wanted to do was pay shipping all the way from china for one tillamook processor. Arrgh, maybe chipsfans will sell me a few more processors so I am not paying shipping from the far side of the earth for one common (in asia) processor.

Where can I get the Zhong Hua Multicare-Toothpaste? Laughing
Hmmm would be a way but won`t scrap it....
I`ll try to overclock my C6-300, if the
marking is faked I`ll notice if there`s
not much room for more than 300MHz.

I just flicked through an HTML version of the C6 datasheety. There is no mention of the multiplier being locked. It mentions speeds of:

150, 180, 200, 225, 240MHz

However, in another section of the datasheet, it has the following table:

Code:
Table 1-3. Performance Characteristics

Major Features         C6

Clock Multiplier     2x, 3x, 4x
Ratios (vs. Bus         5x
frequency)

Bus Speed (MHz)s    60,66,75

Max Internal Freq     240 MHz

This indicates that it must be overclockable to 300 (and possibly beyond...), as the 5x multiplier can't produce a speed below 300 (Bus = 60MHz). Also, I only found one mention of the 150MHz, for a 3.3V part, so I would guess it is not a common part...

I expect to have a copy of the original PDF datasheet for the C6 and the Winchip 2 on my site soon, so if anyone needs them you will have access to them soon (I'm just awaiting a very large email full of some datasheets I don't have, and I'll be putting most of them online).

Dated 9917 on my 266
http://www.cpushack.com/chippics/IDT/IDTW2A-3DEE266GSA.html

my 266 and 300 came directly from the C6 design team.
