I banned 4 accounts created today and yesterday with names "- something -" due to not very obvious forum spamming. All 4 accounts had their www homepage set in their profiles pointing to external porn sites. All four accounts were created only with the goal of creating these links, if you're interested to learn more just search for "aadora" in Google. Of course, these links are removed now.

I banned two more accounts and removed their www links. Unfortunately, I can't ban the spammer by IP as the spammer uses different open proxies to regiter his/her accounts. Sad

The same happened to my forum too. I just wonder why they keep on creating new accounts as the websites that they're advertising in their profiles all don't work, not even one of them Rolling Eyes But it's quite easy to notice when a new account is created by those #%*$?s : each time they sign up, a mail is sent to them by the forum software. Their mailbox seems to be full, so you'll get a "mail delivery failure notice" in your inbox every time one of them creates a new account Smile

I didn't get bounces. They use free e-mail accounts hosted by some Russian/Ukranian site now, so my guess is the accounts were registered recently, and they are not full yet. I tempoparily banned all new accounts with e-mails *@xoxma.net, this should prevent creation of new accounts in the near future.
