I'm 54 (born April 1950, datecode 5014). My first Microprocessor was the Intel 8080. I was a member of an engineering group developing the first office computer in Norway using this chip. That was in the mid 70's...

It's 7205 for me and it's close to 4004.
This ship is older than me but it's not a CPU. |

I'm a P6701 (P for Paulus - my last name;-). As far as I know at that time timestamps were not used and this date is too early for any LSI chip.
So what, I don't feel old |

|
|
Hello !
Nice to know that there is a website like this.
I am from the Philippines, 39 years old and have been involved with Semi-Conductors since 1994.
I got involved in the Semi-Conductor trade in the late 1993 when the owner of a re-cycling company asked me to go to his recycling plant and figure out any business opportunity from his mountain of scraps a supervising technician taught me how to identify Different Memory chips and processors then I left for Hong Hong to start selling used / refurbished Memory Devices door to door in early 1994.
I shifted to another line and closed down the business in 1999 .
Now, I think it is the best time to restart the business again so a few months ago with the strong encouragement from my wife, I dusted my old technical books and dusted old testing equipments and with the left-over Drams that I had in stock, I put up a website:

As I'm new on the forum, I think that it is a good beginning to post first here...
I'm 26, I was born just one month before the release of the 8086.
As I collect only x86, I will never have a chip older than me... |
