I don't think sellers should be able to use "stock", "borrowed" or "stolen" images without saying so, as it is reasonable for any buyer to assume the item shown is the one being sold (and this could lead to fraud accusations as well, if a different chip to the one shown is received, which is a situation most buyers and sellers prefer to avoid). _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

also there are some duplicated listings (two identical C4003 for example) which make me confused. _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

I just saw these auctions myself and was going to mention it here but Peter was first.
Don't know if I can complain at ebay since it's not against any rules to use a photo from the internet. But if the seller was serious he at lest should mention that the photos not are on the actual chips.
Maybe he should be listed on the bad and ugly ebayer listing. _________________ www.cpu-zone.com |

| copying/using images without permission is against eBay policy, and, in my experience, eBay (in the UK at least) will remove listings if approached by the owner of 'borrowed' work. |

I have reported these auctions to ebay now and hopefully they will remove them. _________________ www.cpu-zone.com |
