Who here thinks we should have a minimum amount of time people are required to put in before they can start selling chips on this forum. I am not sure myself, but I think in order to keep this forum a clean place to buy and sell chips there should be some kind of standard set to minimize the threat of scam artists. I belong to other forums where they use the I-Trader rating to help with this , and I have never had any problems with anyone. I also have never had any problems with anyone here yet, but I have been skepticle about a few people i have seen trying to sell chips to us. Luckily I grew up in the hood and if somthing smells fishy it usually is. Also if you were found to be a ripoff artist you got the crap beat out of you, obviously the threat of bodily harm doesnt work on the internet well LOL. The old saying MY word is my Bond is a fact for me, not just a saying. And yes its me and my first Yellowfin Tuna in the pic. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

A small number of posts requres more patance than most scammers want to deal wth, so eye vote for a 20 post mnmum for new-be sellers.

I vote for "Screw it who cares".
typically it is not number of posts which can tell us the seller is honest or not.
Just let it be.
BTW: very nice catch Chiefish, now I know why your name yourself ...fish : - ) _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

Me too. Some honest people just want to sell here. They are not collectors, they don't care about most of our collector's discussion. If you exclude them from selling from 1st post/1st subscription day, we can miss lot of good opportunities.
Example : Shadownkx, who sold here some good very new ES cpus... _________________ Register on x86-guide.net to manage and share your collection on-line !
