Oh damn, I missed it
It's seems to be a very late prodution part... B = 1991... and the databooks (which list this CPU) say all *in development*. Damn! 43 is extremly cheap. I think the value is much beyond a C4004... _________________ Frank. |

Agreed, a very fine example of an almost unknown 286.
Isnt this East germany's ONLY x86 CPU?
The soviets made 808x CPU's but a 286 is much nicer (a 186 would be cool too) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

The chip is uncommon in many ways. There are not many real SMD chips in eastern block. The U80601 is not mentioned to be fully compatible with i286. I will take a picture of the datasheets I have of this chip. _________________ Frank. |
