It could be related to server's high load. Webalizer software was running at about the same time as you've got the problem sending PM. I disabled Webalizer for now - we'll see how the server will be running in the next few days.

Forum was not working and the main site's page was blank because the server ran out of space. I've got two e-mail warnings yesterday evening, that the disk drive was almost full. After some troubleshooting, I concluded that the problem was not on my server. CPU-World runs on a virtual server, and it seemed to me that the size of server's virtual disk drive was reduced by host operating system. I opened a ticket with customer support at 11pm, and, as I found out this morning, they didn't fix it. The server ran out of space at about 3:30am EST, and it lasted for more than 6 hours. The ticket is still opened, and I hope they'll fix what caused it. Otherwise you'll see CPU-World moving to another hosting company.

That isn't serious behavior from them.

I hope it will be fixed. I had many problems with my previous hosts now it seems to be OK.

It could be due to high server load.

As for other issues with the site: my virtual server needs to be moved to different server as the parent server doesn't have enough disk space. After some thinking I decided to use this opportunity to upgrade the sever. In the next few days CPU-World will be moving to a dedicated server (Dual Xeon E5504), so be prepared that the forum and/or site tools will be down for short period of time. When it's done I will start working on upgrading forum to phpBB3.

All forum posts from the old server were copied to the new server. A few messages, posted in the last hour and half, were lost. CPU-World with the forum runs on the new server right now. I hope it'll be faster now than before.
