Yes there are a lot of variations around,
especially the old ones which have no
highly integrated one-chip cores but many gates.
But when I see this cute Fujitsu-MCM from the back I dont
feel much like continue collecting that small IBMs hehehe Smile

Yea, I traded a Hitachi MCM for a Amdahl-Fujitsu MCM with Doccy a few years back and I have been hooked on the Amdahl MCM's ever since. They are stunning!

I think Doccy has a VERY nice MCM collection

Okok, here is one tool of my sadomaso-cellar Smile
Actually an untouched heavy 9672 G5 from `99 I think,
should have big chipdies but probably violet ceramic.

Very nice Very Happy

Do you know what model it is from, as the G5 cpus ran from 385 - 637MHz

and yes the G5 models were introduced 1998 & 1999

Now those I just love the look of, they remind me of some futuristic city.

Over the last 5 years my collecting interestes has changed but one thing that is always stayed the same is that I love MCM's Razz

thought it might be neat to show the case on this one.

This one has a teeny tinny wire with a glass bulb on the top that is somehow still intact. My camera cannot capture a nice enough closeup of the glass bulb but is kinda neat looking.
