To day it is 2 years since i became a Menber of the Forum
When I started Collecting a had around 80 CPU's that I had saved from the days when i messed around with old Computers (I still do )
Soon after I started serius Collecting i became aware of that, beeing a Poor man, I had to set a limmit for my collecting. I could forget all about C4004 and "ES". Soon my Limmit became. Only X86 CPU's from the start and until the end of Socket 7+8.
Cyrix became my favorit. Cyrix had all the crasy ideas and they are like small pices of Art, hanging there on my wall
Today after 2 years i have around 860 CPU's, in my Collection, all inside my Limmits, and of them around 200 is from Cyrix, all diferent, but i still have large holes there. I got started a bit too late, nearly all of the oldest Cyrix's where gone.
The 2 years with all you crasy collecters, have been fantastic. It is nice to have Friends around the Globe.
Thanks to you all

Excellent work, and well done to stay focused.
Cyrix is my favorite as well, they fought the good fight against Intel (and in some cases won) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

I have had to set limits on what I collect as well, I dont think any of us can afford to just keep buying anything we see that we like. It also helps to make youre collection a very in depth and more complete collection. I can say I am impressed by the variety of Cyrix xhips you have there and would spend some time looking at all the different variations of The chips model lineup.
Way to go and keep up the great work. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

Yeah, congrats also Multifusk. You should put up a "wanted" list for those missing Cyrix chips; I'm sure we'd be able to fill some of 'em |

So do you collect only by part number.. or are you a serious Cyrix collector and collect by core revision _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
