Thanks Hugo. It is in "Server Components > CPUs & Processors" I am not sure what other category I should list it in.

Your chip is listed with Item condition: For parts or not working. It could be better to change it to "Used".

Also, here is a link to eBay US:

thanks Gennadiy. I was under the impression that listing a part as used still leaves doubt as to it's working condition whereas I wanted to make it clear that the part is not being sold as a possible working chip. Let me know your thoughts on this. I see a lot of chips offered on e-bay that are listed as new but a close look at the pic shows solder on the legs. I would think that is borderline.

I see, you want to be on a safe side. I guess it's not that important for a chip like C4004 - even if you say it's not working, people will still read the description. If it was more common chip I wouldn't read it if the condition said "not working".

the price is within the normal range.

time goes back to the year 2006 when I was zero feedback on ebay,
A desoldered C4004 grey trace of gmanbc was sold for $650 around.
I was outbidded by others for that aution.
just like the new ebayer 8**3(0) in this auction lol.

It might be, but I wouldn't pay such a price for a desoldered chip. Doesn't have the same "collector" value

Good price for this chip. A few years back you could get socket pull gray C4004 for this price.
