The first 8080A is a common one (as far as they go lol)

the second one is very odd. I have not seen one with 3 lines of text on it.

It also appears that the lid has been resoldered on, unusual.

Whats the dates on these?

Also, nice P60 ES Smile

Thanks! Smile
The date code on the one that says "GOOD 6/2/77" is "Malaysia 7628". The one on the board only has "Malaysia" on the back with no datecode, I think (Unless the 0383R means 1983). More stuff probably coming on tonight or tomorrow, stay tuned Wink

PS There's a wetmark on the back of the intel ES 60MHz. That is ALCOHOL, as I had just wiped it clean before taking shots Smile

I have 4 C8080As with three lines of text but none of them start off with "CG"? Two of them start off with numbers and the other two start off with "SK" I have quite a few more C8080As and the 3 liners are quite rare. I do have one four liner including the "(C) Intel '74" which makes up the forth line Cool

I don't have any Pentium ES samples so if you want to trade...

You almost had me there for a second, with that P75-90MHz style chip. Is it fake?

If I'm mistaken, then great chip. Let's trade! Cool

It's a Pentium 120 ES. "60" in the part number designates bus speed.

Yes, both are Pentium 120 ES.

I would love to see a Pentium 60 ES or, better, a Pentium 50 ES

I'm almost certain I've seen one on cpu-museum.de. But why would you? The goldcapped 60MHz is rarer Smile

Maybe? For the most part the value of a chip comes down to how bad about two or three people want it. After that you might not even get a bid... I am more than a little curious to what the value of the chip will be in say 50 years?
