|
|
Well I finally sorted through all the 20 I got, and got them all to run so its time to make these available to people
These are NEC Proserva V Plus systems (a rebranded Zenith Z-Server WL)
-Dual Socket 5 with 2x Pentium 200 SY044
-512K Cache (256k onboard + 256K COAST)
-Onboard Cirrus Logic video (CL5440 with 1MB of RAM)
-3 PCI slots, 6 EISA slots (1 shared)
-8x 72-pin RAM slots - supports ECC/Parity Loaded with 128MB of RAM (8x 16MB sticks)
-Onboard SCSI - internal and external - Adaptec AIC 7880P and AIC-6370
Ultra/Ultra Wide
Toshiba SCSI CD-ROM XM-5401TA
1.44MB Floppy Drive
These are all tested to POST
These are powered by an Intel 82439HX Chipset
More info about them (including documentation) here at Vogons)
https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=70128
I will do $200 each for these, that covers my costs of getting them and adding the second CPU and RAM
I also have NIB Cirrus Logic CL5434 PCI Video cards with 1MB of RAM (upgradeable to 2MB)
$20 each for those _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

I confirm my request from the group buy. I'll take an NIB CL-GD5434 as well. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Cool. I will probably leave it until I have paid enough to have it filled with tray and whatever else can be squeezed inside the case _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

| I want one Proserva V Plus with one CL5434 PCI now and a second one for spare parts in a few months or so (case condition does not matter on second one) if possible. |

I'd like to mention that single CPU K6-III's and Tillamook P266 MMX chips work in this board when using a split-rail voltage regulator module. Dual CPU P233 MMX chips also work when using a VRM. Tested with a GeForce2 in NT4, Win98SE, and W2K using the onboard Adaptec AIC-7880 SCSI controller (Adaptec 2940UW). _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

| I think it's cooler to leave the P200s in there. P200 was overshadowed by PPro 200 in the server market and the P200MMX in the consumer market, so having a system with Dual P200s is pretty unique in my opinion. |

Dual P233MMX was even less common though. _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |
