It's absolutely voluntarily.
And probably Debs wouldn't approve my and other's suggestions to save her collection.
But I believe if she comeback many of us will support her... not necessarily by chips returnig. _________________ My Want List: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22729

I traded with Debs a dozen times during last years.
Unfortunately I can't afford to offer fair prices for her chips.
Because I don't want to take the advantage of the situation she's currently in, I don't buy any chips at all. |

I appreciate all the comments, and am grateful that some of you will be marking chips as coming from my collection. I have no plans for changing mymind about this, it is what I would have done many years ago (before starting to collect) if the opportunity had been there.
Although some bids are silly (gold-capped chips must be worth more than €1 if I scrap them...), most are reasonable. The higher bids some members are placing will help offset the loss for items they bid less on. Buyers who are only putting in low bids on uncommon chips will not get as lucky as they might think - I am keen to move into my new life, but not desparate or stupid
Chips which either have no offers or no offers that are acceptable will be relisted once I have been able to compile lists of what remains and what sold, with prices on all new lists
The list of Intel's that are not on my site is going up shortly, and in particular I ahve set a minimum price for the Q0815. I hope to get more than the minimum, but figure having offers in an auction format on this forum will helpprovide a guide to what some members are prepared to pay for some items (notjust that one, of course). _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

It is an auction system, average price will be dropped far more higher than it should. Some common K6-2 worth less than 1 euro are already at more than 5 for example...
And if price is not good, she will not sale, so in anycase she wins.
Moreover, the auction system here is worst than one ebay : on ebay, auction start at 1€ and if you put max prix at 50€ but none bid on you, you get the chip for 1€... Here, if you put 50€, you get it for 50€, not less...
So, no pbm for debs I think. _________________ Register on x86-guide.net to manage and share your collection on-line !
