I don't think the US should be building missle defense sites anywhere else. The Bush Administration has done nothing but harm with it's saber rattling, all the while running America into the ground. The US is in Terminal debt and the rest of the world knows it. As a result the US dollar isn't worth a plugged nickel.
I was stationed in Germany during the early 70's and the US soldiers there had a (well deserved) reputation for causing an awful lot of trouble with the civillian population. Everything from hit-and-run car accidents to getting drunk or high on drugs before fighting in the gasthauses (did I spell that right?)?
My country needs to clean up it's own back yard before attempting to tell the rest of the world how to act. Many US cities are war zones with the prevalence of urban terrorists and gang violence. _________________ "Have you scanned the RAM timings for Operator's Headspace?? | If this sounds like "head in the sand", then I apologise, but I am glad to live in a country that is far away from anywhere else. We have no nuclear weapons, don't house any foreign nuclear or other attack facilities, have no (current) requirement for missile defence shields and have a large, generally harmonious, multicultural population. And then there is New Zealand...who have virtually no defence forces, a beautiful and clean country, terrific food & wine and great people (again with a large ethnic mix). Maybe we should use them as a role model for world peace?? |

Interesting how an old topic can get actual and the result of our vote reflects the today situation (while the original question was much more precise than just "do you go for it or not;-) _________________ You may use the photos I have posted here under CC BY-NC-SA license. |

Here we go again. Now I have changed my opinion and say NO. I wonder how many times Obama will change his plan and how many times our government will say YES YES YES ! It is going to be very annoying. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
