I will be taking over the selling of these hopefully this week.

I'll have them listed on my website for purchase.

(Note sales of these cannot go to your AVICC balance as I will need to pay George)

That's great news for members and for George Phillips, who spent Five years researching the data for this important and so-helpful book! Very Happy

Remember, if you don't pay...john has guns!!! icon_2gun

I actually checked into this but at 1300+ pages it would have had to have been two volume set and would have cost something like 300.00 (printed in India).

Plus, there's benefits to having the guide on CD... The contents and index in the guide are clickable hyperlinks. Much easier than flipping thru a 1300+ page two volume hardcopy trying to find something.

George, it's good to see you around again!
With many more chip collectors involved in the hobby, is there any chance that you will offer a 3rd edition with updated prices and rarity ratings? Smile
I think the demand for this information is greater than ever, the way that prices for collectible chips soared in the past year.

The current edition is actually the 4th edition, vastly updated from the 2nd edition.

It seems that Philips has shown signs of life. It is good that your back again to forum. I am starting with this vice I heard of your book and I found it a very interesting working. If you may be able to republish, or you can get a copy for us...

As you can see there are people interested in your book.
You could advertise on websites about vintage computer and CPU and you could put on sale by eBay, in order to win some money for the effort to make this book.

Sory for my bad english and congratulations for a job well done

I now have the 4th edition in stock and ready to ship.
Price is the same as before $30 + shipping

Shipping will be $5 anywhere in the world.
Thanks!

PS: I'll add them to my site in the next few days

I think it would be worth it to check into hard copies again just in case we can find a good price. Like a special edition or something Smile

I'll look around and see what I can do, perhaps if I reformatted it all (its currently 1320 pages)

I don't think George ever had a hard copy published, only CD. Surprised
