or is there anything written on the heat-sink under the fan?

it is completely blank

no die cap.. so "die assembly" will be on the top like a P2 overdrive
just that it is made in ceramic

an overdrive thermal sample
it is ceramic but the HS says it is for overdrive thermal sample
i dont know it should be categoried to PII overdrive thermal sample or pentium pro thermal sample

had a re-think about this one after the P1 OD mech sample came up without a die cap.

this chip not having a die cap doesn't necessarily make it a P2 OD thermal sample.. it could still be a Pentium Pro thermal sample Confused

yes & thanks
sorry mate. I was told afterwards that you had planned to bid.
but I knew if it went to auction it would be a lost cause for me

No markings on the top.. just a neoprene block (the "C" Spacer) to act as the pretend heat-sink & fan

Did you notice the 2 extra pins on the bottom?

the picture is too small , i didnt find that
&
never mind , if the seller let the auction go on ,the price would be higher than $500+ which is also out of my budget

Just wondering where the sSpec SL2K3 came from?

The only reference I can find is a NIB listed on cpu-sammlung.de which I am starting to guess is possibly a typo

Info on this may have been posted on cpu-museum.de/forum but the forum is still dead, so willl send a PM to Borris to please confirm sSpec
