quite often the print sticks better to silicon glue than it does to the gold surface.
No matter what you do.. in the end it is lucky of the draw |

The white epoxy type glue is much easier to remove with metho and there is good odds of the print remaining intact. |
Yep, the white epoxy glue is better.
I've got few SX957,SX958 with heat sink uses such glue, it is much easier to remove the heat sink without damage the label. _________________ Want List

I think the label had already stick on the glue. No matter what method you use, the label would not stay on the gold surface _________________ Want List

I think the glue had kind of chemical reaction with the ceramic. The glue can be easily removed by a rubber, however the color difference is noticeable. _________________ Want List

steel wool will remove the pink mark on the ceramic (use a fine kind)
I also have some glass polish (like toothpaste almost) that works well. _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

even the rubber could clean some of glue, but the circle is noticeable at all.
I said, the glue could have some chemical reaction with ceramic, therefore there's nothing i can do with it.
If you go to chipdb, you can also see the SX909 has a obvious circle mark on the chip _________________ Want List
