SERNO = Serial Number - an American shortening of those words.

I'd be interested in buying that board in the back ground in Picture 6 - looks to have some nice white ceramics on it!

I guess it's serial number.

"28009" before ASSY is a manufacturer code. The boards were manufactured by Sypris Electronics LLC.
