haha, did you win any?
I won 4 out of the six I wanted... and the 2 I lost - well, they were no big deal. |

Well, there are generally a few good deals on this kind of auction...
When sellers make advertisement on every cpu collector forum, the price are always too much high.
But if you have not enough patience (and enough money), this kind of auction is good, because you can get a lot of rare chips in only one evening !
But, the IDT WINCHIP2 you win is a good deal |

anybody "collecting" the id history of Frederic Imbert?
I think he buys the half of what we are talking here about.
eg. two grey 4004 within a month...
ok, I'm just envious;-) |

jepp, he's french.
I did some good trades with him off ebay and there he's a hard fighter for good prices (here he saves the money he spends on ebay;-)
I'm sure if he isn't a member here he's also here as a guest - Hi, Fred!
seems to work in/have a company that builds/rebuilds historic equipment.
Once he told me he's collecting 1101 RAMs to make a 64k memory module - can you imagine how many he needs?
He has already hundreds of 1101!
as mentioned, I'm envious:-) |
