I wonder how you manage to leave no gaps between your chips
Do you reshuffle them every time? _________________ Collecting soviet and western CPUs once again -- highfive to old-timers o/ |

I guess when you think about it thats true. Since there are only a handfull of us who collect through our buying on e-bay we effect the prices of used chips to a greater extent than any other factor. Indeed, I suspect are bickering about prices for specific chips in the forum becomes the standard. That reminds me a great deal of the way gold is valued on the comodities market. I guess it is a good thing that most of us collectors are cheap bastards. Otherwise we would be broke |

There are also plenty of chinese collectors out there which have their own forums and sites. I suspect the chinese market is even bigger than ours. _________________ 4000+ chips.

It is, bigger than we imagine it to be. What I'm not sure is how many dozens of forums there are about chipcollecting _________________ http://www.RareCPUs.com

I have noticed some pretty exciting stuff showing up from china on e-bay. I guess in most populous country in the world one can expect a good number of collectors. Also, this is purely speculation, but I bet a great deal of "outdated" PC's were sent from the US to china. Jokes on us. Now we buy them back as collectables for a pretty penny. |
