Jarda, I think, that you havenīt problem with Tesla 8088, but you have problem with me.

Yes, that's the point. As I wrote, nobody seen this. Nobody from really big number of my contact incl. Tesla Piestany (manufacturer of similar chips) and VUST Praha (Advanced research facility of microelectronic) employees. And all owners of PP-06 haven't MHB inside.
That's really all what I can tell about this.
.
Second - that's Your problem, what You mean or not. I never know You before.
You started wrote to me and persuading me about this. Based on the texts from newspapers and propogandistic newsletters.
That's too small for so big unprobability... If some piece of it shows real, I'll be very surprised.

I think that for foreign colleagues it must be a little confused and have no idea what can be real. Nevertheless, here in the Czech and Slovak Republics are fairly clear about.
The probability that this is not a fake is very, very low.

Generally I wrote all relevant for subject and any next personal attacks are only Your problem.

It would be interesting to know if this chip works like 8088.
In this package(purple ceramics), no one produced the 8088 processors.
I allow that the crystal 8088 can be there Soviet, but it is put in the package of Tesla

Top lid wasn't polished and painting looks very legit to me. I would vote for genuine but I cann't be sure until someone will test it in real hardware Smile If it come out fake then it was made by Tesla workers at overtime for sure Laughing

For info, Tesla produced lot of chips in this packaging. MHB8080AC of course, and MHB8255AC, MHB1012C, MH117, and many custom chips...
On the other side, time to time are discovered chips without markings. In case of MHB8748C its simple to recognize, but closed lid... Wink
And yes, white ceramic was used at first phase of production, but for simple logic gates only, as I know.
I have small collection of Tesla prototypes and unusual chips Wink

The UCA could help here, as it can detect 8088 microcode quite precisely and measure power consumption as well.

As I said, sold chips aka MHB8088 are fake - it's originaly created from some of these real produced chips - MHB8080AC, MHB8255AC, MHB1012C, MH117 or some another custom chips... only these produced in this carrier case.
Because buyers said they will test this chip, I wait to see for some results...
My prototype is real and works. Is marked by pencil and inside may be soviet chip, I don't know. But I think is from academic or Tesla research facility, not from production. It was never produced.
