It's hard to say it's fake or not, it all depends on your confidence in this seller |

Did you acquire this chip and have you tested it? _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

That ES on the cap looks really out of the place. Either a real bad photoshop attempt or been printed later than the rest of the writing
P.S. I need to take some pictures of my fake collection, this looks really similar to some |

Unfortunately, edwardauskis did not obtain this CPU. I wonder if anyone here bought it... _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

| That's a fake. AMD never labelled K5 ES this way. "C 9717MPP" is what you could see on a regular K5. An engineering sample would say something like "C F131379 ES" instead. |

It would be interesting to see what multiplier the fake has. _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

| Even if it is a faked, which is originally a 200+, it would still be an incredible rare part .. |

| This is what I'm wondering. If it has the 2x multiplier of the PR200, or if it is a remarked PR150 or PR166. |

Yeah, would be bad luck to remark something very valuable into something not very plausible |
