I've "limited" myself to just Intel CPUs/FPUs, but I am an Intel sspec collector. It is daunting as I've just gone through the 3000 mark, from 4004 right up to present. So far I've only managed to photograph about 1000 of these, so I've got photos of the first 1000 of my collection, from 4004 up to Pentium (but including 860/960). Where to from here, I don't know....

oh, man...you're a real fan .. Surprised
By the way, 've been wanting to ask: very large number of people collecting intel processors (only or mainly). Very rare to find a person, collects only all variants MIPS or SPARC or or anything else. There are people who have a lot of chips, but Intel still dominates in their collection. Why is this happening?
1) Intel chips are very interesting
2) Intel chips are most often easy to find
3) Intel released the chip more than all the others factories
4) any other reason?
for example in my collection intel smaller than all the others put together processors - they are not very interesting to me. Like me enough to buy 3 or 4 different PIII, P4 etc and more I do not need.
whether there are more people collecting the chips for architecture and not on a year / frequency / general all have been released?
