BTW. I see I'm only one person who OC too much Athlon XP to 70 degrees. Performance was good and work was stabil - of course only during tests Smile Higher temp than 70 - lower performance and at with unluck hang PC.

Maybe true... I've ran a P4 at 58C successfully.At gaming point it hit 61C and was a little unstable! So Maybe it would be around 55C, which in anycase, I still recomend to go veryfie the real temps in the bios ! That's where the real game is !

I talked about sensor in BIOS which is most credible from all "temp showers". Some parts of Gigabyte mobos was known as boards with not precise sensor. I don't exclude other manufacturers.

My AMD runs at 49c and hits 56c at game point. So as an AMD fan, OC is great, especially when it knocks Intel out ! Wink

I OC from 1,8 GHz to 2,6 on economy cooler. I din't work on this speed (high temp) because someday I could wake up with dead CPU Laughing

You agree with me but I do not agree with you Razz hehehe. Gigabyte is one of oldest and biggest, highest quality manuf in motherboards. That is my own opinion and I wouldn't discuss on that please Smile

Where are other big manufacturers like : EPOX, Biostar, Asrock (yeah economy Asus but marketing goes on and we have different company) I agree in 101% ECS is last (was, is, will be).

My last post - Epox isn't economy - low cost build - it is not same as Asrock, Biostar, ECS Smile
