Ya I know, but I guess when you have to feed the curious, there has to be someone to do it |

..so sorry...but I had to do-it to silence the "ones" who needed to know the truth about the chips authenticity !
Well, it's ok, next time I say it's what it is, they'll believe me !

I don't think anyone was doubting the authenticity of the chip, people were merely making suggestions you might have overlooked to help you find if there were markings someone else may ahve covered up in the past.
Nice chip anyway, prior to being massacred I also would have bought it just out of curiosity, it was obviously a UV-EPROM and unusual because of the lack of visible markings. I would have done a very high resolution (10000dpi or higher) scan of the core to try and determine if there was any manufacturer specific data written anywhere on the core...) _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Ya...I could still try that you know (resolution scan)
I'll get on it soon and give results here if I find anything.
Oh and guys/gals, thanx for the considerate offers, but I wouldn't have sold it anyways (since I didn't own one).
Later !

I never meant to abuse you, man. It was just the unclear picture, that I thought the chip to be white painted.
