I use swiss army pocket knife to align pins. The blade is thin and long enough to align the whole row of pins on Pentium-class chips. It also does pretty good job of fixing individual pins, even heavily bent pins.

Extreme playground is when pin is totaly bend - lies horizontally Very Happy You can't use knife because to much force is going to place of pin at ground - contact. There are great two scredrivers like I shown on photo.

BTW CPU from picture have straight and COMPLETE pins Smile

PS. I also use knife for super fast and easy straghtening. My last wish is pinkie's tool.
