I can recommend it to everyone especially for you To this moment I hadn't any problems using it. I made about 200-250 transactions by PayPal. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Paypal is ok. I find that people usually not offering it have something to hide. A seller taking payal gives me more confidence, its like them saying "yes, here are my products and I stand by them". A seller refusing paypal is like a back room transaction in a dark bar with cash passing over the counter.
These are the arguments I hear: Seller: Paypal costs me money, that is why I dont take it.
I say: Then charge a little more to cover the cost.
Seller: Oh. No, I still dont take paypal. What about bad buyers saying product did not arrive?
I say: Use insured, tracking delivery.
Seller: Oh. |

if you ever had Paypal close your account, with over $2000.00 because a buyer paid with a credit card linked to his papal account, buyer decides he wants to cancel the transaction at the same time he already has your product, the buyers credit card company who is linked to his pal pal account decides to stop payment to paypal, paypal decides to stop payment or draw back funds to the sellers account, before you know it, you have multiple charge backs on the seller account for all the transactions the seller made when there is no funds because the credit card company decided to take there money back because the buyer no longer wants to pay. at the end the sellers account has double fees or charge backs because of a buyer cancling there payment from the credit card. this plus paypals bogus policy and over priced fees to how they handle your money.....Iam happy with a good ole check or money order.
if you havent been burned by PAYPAL yet..... go to this website and read.

Iam sure alot of people have been through the same dilemmas as me or other users.
sorry if it sounds a bit confussing......all in all what iam saying is Paypal can take your money and give you no excuse why there holding your funds. sounds like frassl ( Frank) has encountered this before as well.

Paypal implemented a seller protection policy. I have in the past seen auctions where the seller would only accept paypal if I was all green verified in paypal. They shipped to me using a tracking method and everyone was happy.
I am not defending paypal. I am just stating why I like to use it, and I have for nearly 6 years as a buyer without many problems. I have had sellers defraud me and paypal refunded my money. It gives me confidence. I have had problems were paypal limited my account etc.. but it worked itself out in the end. Like any organisation they are going to have a % of problems, show me one organisation that is 100%.
Sellers dont like paypal because it gives the power to the buyer. .. and sadly tainted by the minority assholes who would happily hit you over the head to steal your wallet on the street, or take a five fingerd discount in your local Ma and Pa grocery store. They are the types that would say goods never arrived when they did. There are even some on this very forum. |
