AMD K7 sempron vs Athlon XP

I agree with all 3 explanations that JD sayd I have a Athlon XP 2200+@2GHz Thorton core and in games like FEAR HL2 and Quake 4 it beats a Sempron 3000+ on socket 754, for the tests I used a friend MB with a Sempron 3000+ and my PC with a Mercury KOB KT266a FDSX and A Athlon XP 2200+@2GHz with 256KB L2 cache for the test I used the same video card, memory,HDD.
So Like JD sayd:

Sempron=Internet surfer CPU (and I make refering for both socket 754 and Socket A platforms)

Athlon XP=Gamer CPU

XP2200+ & Sempron 3000+ both works at 1800MHz.
If you put your Sempron at 2 GHz like the XP, maybe it will be faster.

Those 200MHz that the Sempron are mising should br compensated my the 1600MHz FSB and 400MHz ram speed, because the XP work only at 280MHz FSB and 280MHz RAM speed.
Please correct if I'm wrong
