That is the fan that I am using. I purchased two (they were cheeeep on newegg.) The other is now in my gaming system. It moves enough air with that 120mm fan that I was able to disconnect the noisy 80mm fan in the side of the case and not have the passivly cooled raedon x800 graphics card overheat. Now my whole gaming system is now cooled by the 120mm cpu fan and a 140mm fan in the power supply. Though it is not as quiet as the home theater pc it is much better than it was and quite tolerable.

....I don't have the problem of fan noises bothering me like most...I guess I just got use to it.But my father built this really cool box below his desk he put the tower in. I'll try and get a pic...

It's made of simple 1/2" laminate boards to match the desk, sealed all the sides and top with special glue, leaving the bottom piece unsealed to remove the tower, and he cut out 2 vents for the air to flow threw. He also put some screen mesh (for screen doors) , at the vent holes to prevent bigger dust particals to come in.Well let me tell you, I can't hear a thing ! Very quiote ! And with the fans in the tower installed properly, 2 in front 2 in back, the airflow and temps are all cool in the summer !

I'm thinking of trying the same, but with a simple solution, foam boards !This should isolate the sound by alot !

Exactly. I read some reviews and propably it is well cooling system. I liked too Aerocool Dominator and Thermaltake SonicTower but i couldn't get supported version for AM2.

I remember old system on Athlon XP 2500+ Barton with Gigabyte 3D Rocket cooling. Very showy but not compatible with latest sockets and in tests had much worse performance/noice. I don't know if Gigabyte still produce cooling systems so good as was some time ago. I saw ASUS entered in this segment of market but nothing special what can predominate.

Yeah I thought about that Zalman too. At last Zalman is in acceptable price. This cooler is very well and in good price. Well choice.

Remember these ? Very Happy

This are also a nice thing they came up with back then...

SocketA to P4 adapter

Adapter for s478 P4 MoBo so that a SocketA heatsink can be attached to it! With this you can also replase a broken s478 P4 heatsink assembly!
