Do you have a ebay auction ID?

It is a SX886...

Bought it 2004 from Simmayor.

I think it was this auction: 3493942080

Why not a number chart?
|<----.------------.-.-.-.-----.------------.--------->|
$2.50................40....50...................75..........$100

Selling price graph for each chip? One could then see the average, high and low selling prices of a chip.

Great idea, Wizzard!
Maybe someday we'll be able to Buy & Sell rare chips on an open market like the NASDAQ ... Smile.
It would also be nice to have a relative rarity-price scale based on a (no pun intended) "Blue-chip" item like the Intel C4004.

Also, what about an ASSOCIATION for chip collectors, like the coin and stamp industry have.
And then there is the "Grading" scale issue, which affects pricing.

Are there enough collectors to form a "critical mass" yet, that would make forming an association viable? It could bring us together with a regular newsletter and annual convention. (Think aisles with tables & cases full of choice chips!)
I guess Genna would know.

....oh well...someday? Rolling Eyes

Ok, it was in 2004 well then its a bit harder to add it since the auction on ebay is gone (where i get the details)

That sounds like something also. When there are enough data i´ll start fixing something up.

ah, I see it's a hidden group. Members have to be added by hand. I remember now I had to ask.

Don't worry, you are not missing out on anything ( as far as I know). There is not much happening in that forum for a long time. > 12 months.

AMAZING Price!
It was bought by a "J. Hill".
(Maybe got his bucks from the railroad baron, J.P.Hill?)

Congrats to "chipcollector".

Haha thanks for taking notice Very Happy Excellent price, if I didn't have a C4004 grey I'd pay almost anything to get it. $1500 is a steal for what it's going to be worth in the future

Also I love the idea for the CPU top list. If enough people see it, it would hopefully allow chip prices to steadily rise, without going down as often (as it cuts down confusion for new buyers. they wont have to guess what its worth if there are no completed items)
