It seems that some sellers from eBay started offering processors on Amazon Smile -

Or, maybe they are just trying to outdo this seller? -

decided this thread was better suited than recent auctions thread for the NOS 4004 die

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370849848972

Personally I think the $3,383 price tag is way out in left field

You can buy a 4004 clock for $100.. and have the die removed professionally for less than 10% of final die price

I can't believe why only the photographs could go for this price USD256 even I'm a cpu collector.

This seems insane all right, but it gives me a money-making idea:

1. Print out the pictures from this eBay sale
2. Take photographs of my cat looking at the 4004 pictures
3. Print my cat/4004 photos
4. Sell cat/4004 photos on eBay
5. Profit!

Does it mean "Photographer" is more profitable than "Collector"? Laughing

This is a good question. Each month, I spend more money on collected CPUs than printer ink. Therefore, photography costs less.
*sigh* - I am still not making a profit. Laughing

Found this SAB 80186-R on eBay Germany.

It can be yours for only EUR 150.00 BIN. The starting bid is EUR 99.13.
Enjoy the magnificent hi-res image! Very Happy
