Personally I think the $3,383 price tag is way out in left field
You can buy a 4004 clock for $100.. and have the die removed professionally for less than 10% of final die price |
I agree ... I could see paying that much for an entire wafer ... |

This seems insane all right, but it gives me a money-making idea:
1. Print out the pictures from this eBay sale
2. Take photographs of my cat looking at the 4004 pictures
3. Print my cat/4004 photos
4. Sell cat/4004 photos on eBay
5. Profit!

This is a good question. Each month, I spend more money on collected CPUs than printer ink. Therefore, photography costs less.
*sigh* - I am still not making a profit.  |
