Lots of pretty K6's

That's one I'm always looking out for Smile It's on my complete list but not the one I posted above (with the sheer number of part numbers available, it seemed to much tio add them as well for a new collector to worry about Smile )

What does embedded mean? Adn what is the meaing of the * or e.g. ALYD? Question

I think both questions ahve been asked before, and I don't know the answer. K6-200ALYD is a common part, but I've found nothing anywhere to say what the ALYTD means (in particular it's the "YD" that I wonder about...). The * is something I only know from this site and eBay, and I ahve no idea what, if anything, it means. Both are questions I'd like to answer on my website (now that I'm adding placeholders for known processors that I don't have, I will very soon also be adding extra info for all chips that I have, so this sort of info will be very helpful if significant and if known by anyone...)

Are they both ES? Did they only produce them as ES models?

Is it a BGA package?

What size is it? smaller than a transmeta 5800?

Thanks,

I was under the impression that they were, but vcould be wrong, what was their intended use? I think I have a pic of a similar one in a Cisco router.

K6-2E+/400ACR
K6-2E+/450ACR
K6-2E+/500ACR
K6-2E+/400ICR
K6-2E+/450ICR

Package:
