My boards arrived today. I've only once done soldering before. I may have to find someone else to solder on the expansion connector for me.

I did not forget your request. But I did not have too much time.
I'll do the remaining boards soon. Hopefully will have some time because I finished the 8008 test system prototypes.

Chook, if you can't find someone locally, shoot it over to me. I do quite a bit of SMD soldering so can help you out. here are some examples of my (non-SMD work). Built both of these for my mother-in-law:

I've just found an interesting CPU. The National Semiconductor NSC800.
It is a kind of mixture of Intel 8085 and Z80.
It has registers and instruction set same as Z80. But its BUS system is Intel 8085 like. unfortunately not pin compatible with I8085.
These features make it able to run in my MCS-80 tester with a specific expansion tool.
I could not resist and made the prototype of NSC800 tester expansion.

1.
I only have two pieces of this CPU. An NSC800D-1 and an NSC800N-3I. To make the tester reliable I'd need some other different speed/type.
So if someone has any spare of different kind than mine, I'd happily buy them.

2.
I'll design the final PCB and make NSC800 expansion tools if there are enough requests. At least 8-10.

One for me then
