they have some cool chips they used to have some pictures online.. not anymore .. I remember these cool long thin optical type chips, early light sensors maybe. if you find any frank, I am interested  |

next time I think the ones I saw were early light sensors, long thin chips with a long thin window. |

those are mostly telefax-scanner-chips.
Even the large ones look just like big brothers of the small ones.
but where is my long answer to the 80187?
Is here a deleting guy online and I said something wrong? I just talked about prices (eg. they cost over $500 years ago when there were no new available and the industry still needed them. And that here's a thread actual about the newly apeared 80187 clones which are cheap ...
was that enough to delete again? |

oh sorry, then i referred to the wrong ones.
I guessed "optical chips" as those - you remember - on the middle table/inner circle;-)
you were talking about the display chips.
