left one is nice
Always wondered about the orange paint remarks.. look genuine Intel remarkings
BUT
it isn't a 1701/1702/1601/1602 die
I could possible understand them marking 1702As into 1702s.. both static
but 1701 can also run dynamic
A 1702A cannot run in dynamic mode
and then you have the voltage differences when programming, between non As & As
also one the bits are high when blank and other is low
1702A dies can be "over-erased" if treated as 1701/1702s
Even if Intel pre-programmed the eproms and set-up in machines.. I still dont understand why mark them as non As.. just asking for trouble _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

| Yups, I noticed that also. I need to check them out under the microscope one of these days. Somehow I suspect it might be an MF1701 ... |

nup.. it is a 1702A die.. no matter if Intel or MIL
Intel & MIL dies are almost identical to look for each part.. except logo & copyright on die _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

I know your little while
But the left one is nice.. be happy with that one
Just consider them like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito in the movie.. Twins _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Now everybody knows where the C8080A-2 ended up - it was reunited with its (dirty) brother the C8080A-1 |

Very nice and uncommon pair of SV8T. They don't turn up very often! _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
