Pentium Thermal Sample

I was told that the sticker that was on this chip said Thermal Sample but I havent been able to run this chip to try and confirm this.
I was also told that SMBN stood for Set Mask Bit Negative. Does that make any sense to those of you who know more about Pentiums that I do? I did find this page that references SBMN as an opcode for Set Mask Bit Negative and also references other opcodes which might help others.

I've got another unknown chip like this that I am building a system for to try and help identify exactly what speed and any other interesting information.
