Looking for some help on what I can upgrade this motherboard to. I dont want anything too complex are technical to understand - looking basically for a plug and play upgrade. It presently has an Athlon 2500+ processor. Was wondering if the 3200+ was the fastest I could go to and will I be able to have plug and play install with it. Are there any other plug and play processors for it other than this possibility

biostar's cpu support pages claim that this motherboard supports processors up to FSB333 version of Athlon 3000+. You need to check what is the FSB (front side bus) when buying a new processor as there were verstions of 3000+ with FSB333 and FSB400. Also, don't forget to put the thermal compound between the processor and the radiator.

Yes, the FSB is 333 as you suspected. Ok, where can I go from here, what can I use
