Free CPU's and PC's !

Hey,
If you don't feel you have enough CPU's or other chips, then you should read on.
Since I re-started chip collecting in April, I have gotten at least 40 discarded PC's through "freecycle.org", including two LAPTOPS that work perfectly! The PC's have yielded CPU's from 486's to P4's and lots of other re-usable parts. I haven't had to drive over 4 miles to get an item and the "givers" are always thrilled to get rid of something that is harmful to just toss in the local Dump!!

If your town or region doesn't have a group, you could start one! You're helping the earth while helping your collection.

Yes, I've got some good vintage computer stuff from Freecycle. I think it was John who originally recommended it to me.
