Hi, I'm playing around with an old AcerNote 370PC Laptop.
I'm hoping to put a bigger CPU in it.
Can anyone help with the SW3 individual switch effects on multiplier and bus speeds?
The Laptop can handle 120,133,150Mhz and MMX standard. Mine is already set to 166Mhz, so I recon there could be other combinations.
I think I may be able to fit the following in to it?
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/80586/Intel-Pentium%20MMX%20233%20-%20FV80503233%20(top).html
Socket 7 233Mhz MMX, Bus 66Mhz, multiplier 3.5x
I am thinking a switch combination should allow me 3x which should be close enough to make the larger CPU run.
Any help apreciated.

I'm not sure if it will have any other combinations. Pentium 166 (2.5 x 66 MHz) uses the same clock multiplier as the Pentium 150 (2.5 x 60 MHz). If you'll find a way to change the multiplier to 1.5x you may be able to run Pentium MMX 233 - they interpret 1.5x as 3.5x.
