I was just wondering if I bought a p4 3GHz 800FSB chip, would it down-step the FSB to work in a 533FSB motherboard?

Always wondered this... Question

I have never tried to run Pentium 4s at lower FSB... I suspect the processor will work, but it'll be clocked at 2 GHz instead of 3.
