Beautiful item. I'd love to have the skills to do such things.

WOw---Doccy, you are a genius! I wish I could create something like that!
What the heck is that thing? X-ray machine?
I'll get excited when I just get some of my display chips to light up on a breadboard this winter, with some help from friends here... Embarassed

I checked out the YouTube link also and there are so many cool projects there... Shocked

Thank you for the laurels but it isn`t mine Razz
Usually my own projects causing blown fuses
or the pong of melted silicium
because I`m too hasty in my big suspense.... Smile
I planned to tinker me also such a scope game
but the horrendous price of the tiny FPGA-board (~€180) is
keeping me off (for the moment) Wink
The tube may also not be inexpesive and a
nice one (without grating) isn`t easy to find...

yea but it looks ultra-cool. And I bet it's worth way more than parts cost. what was the main thing these tubes were used for? just regular CRTs or oscilloscopes or sth else?

You`re right, it`s a a really unique
device. Already complete scope crt-clocks
are ultrahard to find on ebay.
