Was wondering if I could swap my Emachines W3644
AMD Sempron™ LE-1200 processor
Operates at 2.1 GHz
512 KB L2 cache
1600 MHz system bus

For a:

Emachines T2891
CPU: AMD Sempron™ 2800+ Processor
(2GHz, 333MHz FSB, 384KB L2 cache)

Which one is the better CPU and which one would run my games better?

The first CPU (LE-1200) should be much better. It has more efficient core, clocked higher, has larger L2 cache, and has faster interface to memory and peripheral devices.

Also, the socket A Sempron 2800+ is not compatible with your system. Your W3644 computer requires a more recent socket AM2 processor. It cannot use socket A processors.

Overclock? That processor is just plain not for games... You really, really need two cores.
