i have a HP Pavillion Dv5 runs a Core Duo 2.0ghz.
im not so familiar with computers, can i overclock this one? if so, can someone redirect me to a good source online that shows me HOW. |

I wouldn't recommend you to overclock a laptop CPU.
Because of the inadequate cooling most laptops can't operate even a couple of hours under 100% load at the stock CPU speed.
That's why the cooling pads are widely used. If you overclock the chip, even a cooling pad won't help much.
If you want to overclock something - you should use a desktop PC.  |

| If you can open it up and improve the cooling then you can overclock a little, but as Qwerty says, the standard laptop config is not a good idea to overclock. External cooling pads are poor in my opinion. |
