So what is the story on these things and why don't we ever see them for sale on Ebay, etc?

fairly common on eBay and with chip brokers, I have an ES or 2 of them laying around.

i bought some on ebay, but i don´t know the exact story about them.
you can find one on my website and a datasheet.

Interesting, I guess it surprised me know one seems to have ever talked about them here. Sort of out of my realm of collecting though so I wasn't sure.

I acquired a iPLDS Development System today and didnt really know much about them. Going to post some pics tonight. Cool little machine.

I cant tell you how much I enjoy your site Peter. I find myself just browsing your site just for fun, really great way to view pics plus you do a stellar job at photography and the layout! When I finally get a site together I want to use the same type of image viewing, is yours Flash?
